This video is part 2 of a series that will discuss my deconversion from a fundamentalist pentecostal to an atheist.
In regards to the terms used in the video. Gnostic is defined as knowing or knowledge. Agnostic is defined as lack of knowledge or not knowing. I realize there is an alternate definition of agnostic, but this is the definition I’m using in the video. These terms describe knowledge ONLY, not belief. One can be an agnostic/gnostic theist or an agnostic/gnostic atheist. I have been an gnostic theist (christian) and an agnostic theist (christian) in the past. I currently consider myself an agnostic atheist.
Here’s an overview of the 4 categories of belief
1. Agnostic atheist
does not believe any god exists, but doesn’t claim to know that no god exists
2. Gnostic atheist
believes that no god exists and claims to know that this belief is true
3. Agnostic theist
believes a god exists, but doesn’t claim to know that this belief is true
4. Gnostic theist
believes a god exists and claims to know that this belief is true
**If you are not happy with these terms and definition, realize the point of the video remains. I realized I didn’t KNOW my beliefs were true.

I have a shorter version of my deconversion on my channel, but it lacks many important things. If you want an overview of some of the things I’ll be talking about check it out. http://www.youtube.com/user/Lovingdoubt#g/c/4FD68E732070EB59
