Are church life groups a good way to meet new people my age?
I recently started going to church w/my boyfriend and they mentioned last weekend that new "life groups" are starting. I really want to meet cool new people my age (20′s – 30′s) and was wondering if this is a good way? I did an alpha thing last year and everybody was OLD. Thanks

mmm? I wouldn’t, but then I’m into honesty! which I find religious people noticeably lacking in. (as in hypocrites) — Just my relativey long life’s observation.

Absolutely.
I was pretty bummed after my divorce, so I started attending a "college & career" group at a local church.
Now, probably 80% of my friends and my current girlfriend (the lovely Kate) are all people I met in church.
Give it a try…it sure beats the bars (though I do occasionally have a cold one at a sports bar around the corner.)
