The truth is that the Christian churches are based upon the teachings of the early church leaders, not those of Jesus himself. Jesus never advocated a large, administratively complex church, he called for teaching on one one. The idea if a ‘church’ such as the Christian religion has today would have been anathema to him. Well, I attend Orthodox Liturgy, and our priest usually talks about the Gospel lesson in his sermon. If he mentions St Paul, it is in context of what that day’s Gospel lesson was and what St Paul said to reaffirm it. References :
I doubt you have any evidence showing this is the case. Telling me to attend a sermon is a cop out, as if the Christians here don’t and haven’t already listened to so many of them. References :
Paul wrote most of the New Testament so there has to be more Paul than anything else. Plus Paul was stricter than Jesus was which is what most preachers go for it seems. References :
hm… the first thing that comes to my mind is because Paul was one of the apostles to carry on the new covenant message, this is sometimes preached alot more than what Jesus taught when He was on Earth especially if the message is about Salvation for us today and/or how to live and serve Christ as His children. I think it depends on the church. I don’t know about all the denominations but I have attended many different Christian sects. Most did teach mostly on Jesus since salvation is not come by Paul.

I think it may be because Paul, a follower of Jesus, compiled the information and Preachings of Jesus. It was in fact, because of Paul, that Christianity became a religion known throughout the mediterranean and the Roman empire. The small band of Jesus followers increased in number because of Paul’s effective strategy in diffusing the religion. He would travel a lot and go from town to town founding churches and Christian communities, to whom he would later write (in his epistles -letters) to encourage to keep in the Christian faith and to help solve issues of immorality.
Paul made Christianity grow into a true religion that, although "founded" by Jesus, may have died out had Paul not preached it and taken it to new places, thus having more followers that in turn would preach it and make others know of it. References : We studied this in a theology class.
Paul’s words are considered inspired by the Holy Spirit, as attested by Peter, one of the original apostles.

And account that the long suffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote unto you;
as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; wherein are some things hard to be understood, which the ignorant and unstedfast wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction References : -..- .-.-.

Truth is truth, no matter whose mouth it comes from. The movement I affiliate with has no problem with who says what as you seem to.

Because 13 out of the 27 New Testament writings are attributed to Paul. Paul said much more then Jesus ever had to say in the 4 Gospels.
