I have written 6 books (I am a Sermon on the Mount Christian): Does that mean my books were inspired by God?
Main question: Do you believe all 40 authors of the Bible, with all 40 of their political agendas, ………. do you think every word they wrote was inspired by God, for our edification? —- smiles
Edit: Two of my books were joke books. Do you think they were inspired by God, for your edification, review, and guidance?
added: One of my books was "Love and Optical illusions" . — Do you think it was inspired by God?
I have been inspired by God to give each of you a "Thumbs up". — Why? It is my opinion that Harmony comes from God; disharmony comes from "you know who".
Dear "wheels" — I gave you a a "thumbs up" cause I feel you are so precious. — smiles
yes…especially your joke books.

I do not doubt the authenticity of the Holy Scriptures nor the author’s message. The author, of course, being God.

When you think it is a joke book, it is. When you think it the message of god, it is.

anyone’s writing can be inspired by God if they want it to be. He wants me to ask you something right now…Do you think the 40 books of the Holy Bible were written by 40 different people. If the answer is yes, it wants you to go back and read the introduction before every book.

No
The difference between you and then is they held the keys and were authorized to write by another who had authority in the Priesthood. An Apostle is a calling in the Melchizedek Priesthood, so is a Prophet. Their words have stood the test of time, cross-referenced, tested by hearts of many.

God’s word was written by holy prophets of God, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

Ok, I am a Christian as well. I am working on a book for addicts. It was inspired by my life and what God has done to help me overcome it. I don’t really know if it was God telling me to spread the word or if I came up with it myself. So, I don’t know what inspired your books either.

Yes, I do believe that the entire Bible is inspired, is the Word of God.
(I have a genius-level IQ and a graduate degree so let’s not get into ‘smarts’)
Do you really want an answer ? It doesn’t mean that your books are inspired AND it doesn’t mean they aren’t. But inspiration acknowledged by the Church is a whole different thing. You don’t think we have everything Paul ever wrote do you ? Or Peter ? The inspiration part means that these writings are acknowledged by the Church — and here is the big proviso — with that understanding that the Church has of those books when she canonizes them.
So, Inspiration is not like a toy in a cereal box, it requires an interpretation. Further, the inspiration protects against error but you have to know what is being conveyed in order to know what about it is inspired. The story of Adam and Eve, for example, admits of many different possibilities for what ‘fruit’ she ate. Why ? Because it is totally irrelevant to what is being taught.
Experience tells me to stop here.

Dear Uncle, In my humble opinion, I feel each of the authors of books of the Bible felt their words were inspired by God. If they really were is something none of us really know.
I didn’t know you are a writer. Are your books available to the public? I would love to read them.
(((Uncle))) hope you are happy and well
