Visuals set to the audio of the famous sermon “Seven Way King” (aka That’s My King) as spoken by Dr. S.M. Lockridge. The audio is slightly edited for a better flow in the video.

The music in the background was performed live by the GCC band while the video played on the screens. It then led directly into the worship song “Here is Our King” (To see the performance in it’s entirety go here: gccwired.com/mediaplayer/playeropener.asp?id=478 )

Created entirely using After Effects with footage from the movie “The Passion of the Christ”. The video took 30 hours to create plus around 6 hours of rendering. The final After Effects project file totaled well over 600 layers.

If believing in Jesus Christ as Saviour comes down to ‘faith,’ why did the disciples not believe until they had ‘seen’ evidence of Christ’s resurrection, and in Thomas case, touched the wounds of Jesus? Why did their discipleship only become one of faith after receiving the Holy Spirit? When there have been many individuals who had and have not seen, and yet had faith in Christ before receiving the Holy Spirit?
What say yea?

Because the disciples were just like us except that the Holy Spirit wasn’t fully loosed upon the earth at the time. Whether you have the Holy Spirit or not, it is the spirit that opens the heart to receive Christ. After receiving Christ, then the Holy Spirit enters.

The overture from the 1973 movie Jesus Christ Superstar.

Filmed primarily in Avdat,the Dead Sea and the Bell Caverns in Israel, Jesus Christ Superstar is a 1973, Oscar-nominated film adaptation of the rock opera of the same name, based on the conflict between Judas and Jesus in the last weeks before the crucifixion of Jesus. The film was directed by Norman Jewison. Ted Neeley and Carl Anderson were nominated for two 1974 Golden Globe Award for their portrayals of Jesus and Judas, respectively.

Though it attracted criticism from some religious groups, the film was generally well received.

The Truth About Jesus Christ

Born in Dar-es-salaam in Tanzania to British parents, Green’s father (born in England), Gavin Green, was a colonial administrator in the then extant British Empire. At an early age he moved back to the UK with his parents. His mother is of original Polish origin.

At the age of 10 he attended a Roman Catholic Monastic boarding school at Gilling Castle and then went onto Ampleforth College and went on to study history in the London University. However, he left his education unfinished in an effort to devote himself to Islamic works.

He became dissatisfied with Christianity at the age of 8, with it not making sense to him.

Green researched and practiced many religions, including Buddhism (for 3 years) before embracing Islam.

Whilst in Britain his father got a job in 1976 working for Barclays Bank International and was subsequently sent to Cairo, Egypt, to set up a branch of the Bank there.

His study of the Noble Qur’an immediately attracted him to Islam and he embraced Islam in 1988. He has been a Daw’ah practitioner in Britain since then.

Green now works in the London Central Mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre as the Visits and English Dawa Co-ordinator.

Green is seen akin to lecturers such as Dr. Zakir Naik, Dr. Bilal Philips, Khalid Yasin and Yvonne Ridley, doing many lectures on Islam worldwide and also in London’s famous Hyde Park, Speakers Corner.
